  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine bread crumbs, Italian seasoning and garlic powder in shallow dish. Dip chicken in egg, then crumb mixture; turn to coat.
  2. Arrange chicken in 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Bake 20 minutes.
  3. Pour sauce over chicken; top with cheese. Bake an additional 10 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
Recipe Notes

Tip: Most dishes that call for frying can be baked to cut down on the fat. Try substituting eggplant for chicken for a vegetarian version.

  1. Season beef, if desired, with salt and ground black pepper.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat and brown 1/2 of the beef, stirring occasionally, about 4 minutes. Remove browned beef to slow cooker with slotted spoon, then repeat with remaining beef.
  3. Melt remaining 1 tablespoon butter in same skillet over medium heat and cook mushrooms and onion, stirring occasionally, until golden, about 6 minutes. Add garlic and cook, stirring frequently, 30 seconds. Remove to slow cooker.
  4. Stir in sauce. Cook covered at HIGH 4 to 5 hours or at LOW 8 to 10 hours or until beef is tender.

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine Ricotta cheese, 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and eggs in bowl and set aside.
  2. Spread 1 cup sauce in 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Layer 4 uncooked noodles, then 1 cup sauce and 1/2 of the Ricotta cheese mixture; repeat. Top with remaining 4 uncooked noodles and sauce.
  3. Bake 1 hour covered tightly with aluminum foil. Remove foil and sprinkle with remaining Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Bake uncovered an additional 10 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
