String Cheese Spaghetti & Meatballs

If kids want to help make meatballs but don't want to get their hands dirty, have them wear plastic food service gloves. They make the job fun and guarantee easy clean-up!


  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 jar (1 lb. 8 oz.) Ragu® Sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes, (about 4 oz.)
  • 8 ounces whole wheat spaghetti or regular spaghetti, cooked and drained


  1. Combine ground beef, bread crumbs and egg in medium bowl; shape into 12 meatballs.
  2. Bring Sauce to a boil over medium-high heat in large saucepan. Gently stir in uncooked meatballs.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes or until meatballs are done. To serve, toss meatballs and sauce with mozzarella cheese and hot spaghetti.
