Sausage & Peppers

Makes a great sandwich too...so plan ahead and make extra!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 1/2 lbs. sweet Italian sausage, sliced if desired
  • 2 red and/or green bell peppers, thinly sliced
  • 1 jar (1 lb. 8 oz.) Ragu® Old World Style® Traditional Pasta Sauce

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat and cook sausage, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until done; drain if desired.
  2. Add red peppers and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in Pasta Sauce and heat through.
  3. Serve, if desired, with hot cooked rigatoni pasta or in Italian rolls.
