UNSTUFFED PEPPERS

An easy-to-make version of a classic that's light on labor, this hearty meal smells heavenly as it simmers.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 jar (1 lb. 10 oz.) Ragu® Old World Style® Traditional Pasta Sauce
  • 2 large green and/or red bell peppers, coarsely chopped
  • 1-1/4 cups water
  • 1 cup instant rice

Directions

  1. Brown ground beef in 12-inch nonstick skillet; drain, if desired. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook covered 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
