For Ragú Tomato and Rich & Meaty sauces, once the jar is opened you can store them in your refrigerator for up to 7 days. For Cheese Creations sauces, because they contain dairy, we recommend using them within a few days after opening and be sure to keep them refrigerated.

Quality is always a priority at Ragú. In order to enjoy your sauces at their optimum quality and freshness, we encourage you to use your sauce by the date on the cap.

If MSG is present in any of our products either directly added or as a component of another ingredient, it will be listed on the label as MSG or Monsodium Glutamate. It is never hidden under any other ingredient listing.

Your Ragú sauces have a date stamped on the lid. Some sauces say Best When Used By while others just list a date. For optimum quality and freshness, we encourage you to use it by that date.

You may freeze unused portions of the Ragú Tomato and Rich & Meaty sauces in a freezer safe container for up to 3 months. For Cheese Creations sauces, freezing is not recommended.

We recommend always following the printed package directions for optimum performance. For stove top heating – Pour sauce into a saucepan, heat slowly, stirring occasionally until hot. For microwave method – Pour sauce into a microwave-safe dish, loosely cover with plastic wrap and heat. Be careful when removing the cover as the sauce may be very hot. Since microwave ovens vary, adjust times as neededed.

For Cheese Creations, use one 16 ounce jar of sauce for 1 pound of pasta. For Ragú Tomato based pasta sauces, use one 26 ounce jar for 1 pound of pasta. For Rich & Meaty sauces, use one 32 ounce jar of sauce for 1 pound of pasta or one 16 ounce jar for 1/2 pound of pasta.
